FIT/CISL with its General Secretary, Giovanni Luciano, has paid tribute to Bob Crow, General Secretary of RMT.
Bob, who has left us prematurely, at the age of 52, was a true leader working to ensure to all the transport workers in Europe and in the world their rights .
He was always very proactive in all the bodies at ETF and ITF level, by giving to the discussion correct direction to solve the problems and to overcome the difficulties of the moment where, very often, the globalization is used not in favour of the workers but against them.
His example in the union activities must be followed by the young union leaders.
FIT/CISL extends its condolences also to his family and Bob Crow will be remembered like an example for our organization.
